CleanPatch was developed as a cost-effective and quick solution to repair medical surfaces and
other soft pressure care surfaces commonly used in healthcare facilities.
CleanPatch®, CleanPatch®-V, CleanPatch®-P, all work on stretch, vinyl and gel surfaces to reduce
infection risks due to dangerous hidden pathogens typically spread by cross-contamination
through various healthcare-acquired infections (HAIs) common when surfaces cannot be
properly disinfected due to damage (e.g., abrasions, small chemical damages, punctures, cuts/
tears, other previously repaired or taped areas).
Despite infection control and prevention programs and all efforts to reduce risk and
contamination, it is still common to find quick patchwork and unauthorised repairs using
solutions such as plasters and tapes which are extremely risky and highly ineffective.
CleanPatch is a TGA approved system that is now being utilised as a part of a surface inspection
and repair program in thousands of healthcare facilities globally and is the first medical surface
repair patch system to correctly restore a wide variety of damaged critical patient surfaces to an
intact and hygienic state.

2. Clean the surface as per
facility protocol and allow to
dry.
3. Remove the white backing
from the CleanPatch.
4. Hold the edges of the
patch and position it over
the damage.
5. Apply firm pressure to the
patch, out to the edges.
6. Slowly and carefully
remove the clear top liner.
7. Smooth the CleanPatch
from centre outwards. Wait 1
minute.
8. Clean the patch and
surrounding area again as
per hospital protocol.
